Good Friday – Day of Fasting
Good Friday is a day of fasting (one main meal and two snacks) and abstinence (not eating meat). Fasting applies to those who have completed their eighteenth year, until the beginning of their sixtieth year; the law of abstinence binds those who have completed their fourteenth year.
