St Gertrude’s is located in Smithfield in south-western Sydney, within St Gertrude’s Parish. The school was opened in January 1952 by the Josephite Sisters and continues today to practise the values and traditions of Mary MacKillop, their foundress.

Patrician Brothers’ College, Fairfield is a Catholic school for boys in Years 7-12. Established by the Brothers’ of St. Patrick in 1953, the College continues the vision of the Brothers’ founder, Bishop Daniel Delany, seeking to recognise and proclaim the presence of Christ in all people and in all of creation.
