St. Carlo Acutis (1991-2006) Canonization: September 7, 2025
Carlo Acutis once said, “All people are born as originals but many die as photocopies.” He truly lived as an “original,” inspiring countless people through his deep love for the Eucharist. Though he enjoyed sports, films, and video games like any teenager, his heart was set on Christ. He encouraged his family to attend Mass and Adoration, and even created a website at age 11 to share Eucharistic miracles with the world. In his short 15 years, Carlo showed that everyday holiness is possible and continues to lead many closer to Christ today.
St. Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901-1925) Canonization: September 7, 2025
Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati was a vibrant young man from a wealthy Italian family whose life was marked by faith, joy, and service. An athlete, student, and lover of the arts, he also had a profound devotion to the Eucharist and the Blessed Mother. Despite his privileged background, he dedicated himself to helping the poor, even contracting polio while serving them. Known for his cheerfulness and deep faith, he inspired friends to grow in holiness and continues to inspire today. Pope St. John Paul II called him “a man of the beatitudes,”
